Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress who is best known for playing Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired between 2015 and the present. Summer Bishil gained fame for her role as a character in Towelhead in the role of Jasira Marroun, an American-Lebanese girl aged thirteen who is thrust in turmoil due to the U.S. military's invasion of Iraq. The following year, she was named among Variety's 10 Actors to Watch. In 2009, she portrayed the powerful Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for the film. She has also acted in films like Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest role on TV, not to mention acting as the co-lead for Lucky 7.
